Twenty teams participated in the Tutong District Tug-of-War competition, in conjunction with the Brunei December Festival. The competition was conducted by Tutong Tuggers in collaboration with the Tutong District Office and was held at the Tutong Civic Centre Complex Field, 13th December morning.

The launch was officiated by Awang Haji Mohammad Sofian bin Haji Basri, Acting Tutong District Officer. Two categories were competed namely, the Heavy Category for a total weight of 680 kilogrammes and the Light Category for a total weight of 560 kilogrammes with a “round robin" competition format. The competition aims to hone, polish and develop new talents in the tug-of-war sports event among the youth in Tutong District.
